Dining
Farm fresh. Home cooked. Heartfelt.
At Ratapani Range Retreat, dining is an experience inspired by the flavours of Madhya Pradesh and the warmth of home.

Sourced within reach of the kitchen.
Our chefs prepare freshly cooked meals using locally sourced ingredients, seasonal vegetables and traditional recipes that celebrate the culinary heritage of the Raisen region. What grows nearby decides what appears on the table.

The flavours of Malwa and Raisen.
Cooking here is the family's own — the unhurried, spice-measured home food of this part of Madhya Pradesh, alongside familiar Indian dishes for younger guests and lighter appetites. Menus follow the season rather than a printed card, so tell us how you like to eat and we will plan around it.
Whether breakfast with birdsong, or dinner beneath stars.
Whether you're enjoying breakfast with birdsong, a leisurely lunch after a safari or dinner beneath a sky full of stars, every meal is crafted to nourish both body and soul.

A table where the forest can join you.
Tables are laid outdoors whenever the weather allows — on the terrace, under the pavilion, or beside the bonfire. Every meal is served with panoramic views of nature, making dining an unforgettable part of your retreat experience.
